Subjects that could be part of occupational guidance are not yet under scientific research.
Many subjects that are related to the occupational counseling and guidance generate many questions that should find the answers after research. The "enterprising attempts of women" ("γυναικεία επιχειρηματικότητα") as was posed by "andagaki" is one of these contemporary subjects.
"Informal network of communication at workplace" is a situation that is of great significance to be scrutinized. This idea is based on my "unfruitful" efforts to localize some sources about an article that I was hopeful to write for "Organizational Psychology" -one of the lessons in the master studies of "Counseling & Occupational Guidance" in the Greek University. "Sentimental & sexual relationships at workplace" has not been investigated at all. The only findings related were those of sexual harassment. But what about the people who choose to be entangled in an "office affair"? Nothing serious was found in the existing bibliography. Only some articles in the INTERNET. Articles that remind us of the usual women's magazines and that cannot be characterised as "scientific magazines".
What are the consequences of the existance of an office affair? What if the implicated parts have the same position at workplace? What happens if they are boss-subordinate? What about the work environment (rumors-gossip etc.)? Dangers if this sentimental relationship comes to an end (dismissal-resignation-unproductive cooperation)? Are there any organizations that use policies against the informal relationships among their emploees? Is this functioning?
All these questions need to be answered in a serious way. Even if the theme seems to be hilarious, we should confront it with gravity. Only then we could tell that it is seen in its real dimensions.
