More players, many balls, no goals?
This article, made by Rie Thomsen, PhD student, The Guidance Research Unit, The Danish University of Education, is an analysis of the role of the guidance counsellor in relation to the process of validation. The article seeks answers to the following questions:
• Which actors are ‘on the playing field’ as regards guidance and competence assessment?
• How do they perceive the role of guidance in connection with the assessment of skills and competencies?
• Is it possible to categorise these various roles?
